Cazcanes Description
his Reposado has an old school rustic feel to it. The overall scent is cooked agave and dry barrel spices. Several other aromas stick out such as honey water, jalapeño oil, cracked peppercorn and just a hint of dry hay. The flavors are well balanced and homogeneous to the nose. You get the buttery cooked agave and the natural sweetness that comes from it. The barrel spices start to appear along with the mix of the black pepper and jalapeño capsaicins. The finish is pleasantly spicy. This is a bold but not overpowering Reposado. It’s well made and fun to sip
