Here's an exciting new discovery from Southern Italy. The Irpinia Campi Taurasini Cretarossa is a lovely expression of Aglianico with a very bold and precise bouquet. The fruit shows quality aromas of black berry and blackberry confit with lighter tones of spice and balsam herb. Dark shades of mineral and granite stone also appear at the back. This is a medium to full-bodied expression with a tight tannic backbone.
